Edisto Island, South Carolina is one of the few remaining unspoiled beach communities on the Eastern Seaboard.  It's a beautiful little place about an hour outside Charleston, and we've enjoyed visiting there each summer for longer than we'd care to admit.  It's a wonderful place for kids, both big and small, so if you're ever out that way and enjoy low-key, beach scenes, do yourself a favor and spend a little time there. -Jay
